Geospiza Previews GeneSifter® Analysis Kit™ Offering and Microarray Lab Management at ABRF
Enhancements Enable Closer Integration between GeneSifter Lab Edition and GeneSifter Analysis Edition

MEMPHIS, TN – February 9th, 2009 – Geospiza, Inc., the market leading developer of genetic analysis software, previews new capabilities for GeneSifter Lab Edition and GeneSifter Analysis Edition at the Association for Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF) in Memphis this week.

GeneSifter Lab Edition will now support microarray instruments from Affymetrix and Illumina, enabling management, distribution and storage of microarray data to complement the GeneSifter Analysis Edition offering. N. Eric Olson, Vice President of Product Development for Geospiza noted, “Now, our microarray lab customers have the ability to store, manage and distribute their data in a format compatible with GeneSifter Analysis Edition – giving them the same end-to-end solution that our Next Gen and Sanger customers have. As we extend the breadth and depth of our platform, we will continue to increase support for existing and new technologies.”

Geospiza also introduces its GeneSifter Analysis Kit offering at ABRF – a validated solution to the challenges scientists face in working with large data files from Applied Biosystems SOLiD and the Illumina Genome Analyzer.
