Welcome to our education section!

Geospiza's education group develops and publishes interactive learning tools that engage students in science by using data, databases, and software resources that have been created through government-sponsored research.

Funding from the National Science Foundation has allowed us to offer professional development workshops and develop instructional materials in bioinformatics for instructors, students, and researchers in diverse locations. Our animated tutorials have been on-line for the past five years. Now we are beginning to offer printed materials and activities on CD-ROM.

Take a look at our animated tutorials and teaching materials, check out our new educational products, and find out about upcoming courses and workshops.

SNEAK PREVIEW: Give iFinch a try (this link will open iFinch in a new page) and test some of the course materials from the Bio-Rad DNA sequencing kit. Use "BR_guest" as the name and "guest" as the password.
